Netflix is great since it added the Kids option which let's you play your child's favourite TV shows.

However, if you're stuck without Internet access, you might as well have no laptop or tablet at all.

But now, the TV giant is planning on launching a service which will allow you to watch a show, even when you're offline.

For the past year, they've been saying they're "keeping an open mind" about the prospect, and now it might be closer than you think.

The streaming service's chief content officer said: "We have talked a lot about this over the years, and our belief is that broadband and Wi-Fi become more and more ubiquitous, available in more and more places that you are, more and more minutes of the day.

"Now as we've launched in more territories... They all have different levels of broadband speeds and Wi-Fi access. So in those countries, they have adapted their behaviours to be much more of a downloading culture.

"In those emerging territories, it starts to become a little more interesting. We still think for the developed world our thesis has been true, but I think as we get into more and more of the undeveloped world and developing countries that we want to find alternatives for people to use Netflix easily. We're looking at it now, so we'll see when."

It's not a definite no, but in today's world and with the competition, we'd say they're working hard on making it happen. It's coming soon (hopefully)!
