Netflix & your family Christmas

Christmas is almost upon us, which means time to decorate the tree, get your presents sorted, and of course, time to relax in front of the fire watching your favourite films, and catching up on the TV shows you love, with the people you love.

We want to know how you will be using Netflix with your family this Christmas. Will you put a film on Netflix while you are wrapping your presents? Maybe you’ll be using Netflix to help the kids settle down before bed on Christmas Eve - after all the excitement over the arrival of Santa! Or perhaps you’ll choose a family favourite that everyone can watch together after Christmas dinner?

We’d also love to know what devices your family uses to watch Netflix.  Do you snuggle up with your partner in bed watching on your laptop? Do you use your smart TV when the whole family is together? Do your kids tend to watch the iPad? Whatever it is, we want to hear about it!

Tell us how you will be using Netflix with your family over the festive season, and be in with a chance to win a Playstation 4.

Netflix has a massive selection of quality titles that whole family can enjoy, including hit movies like The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Brave and Monsters Inc, as well as festive films like Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas and Scrooged.

Hi my name is Catherine and I am a Netflix Mum Ambassador for MummyPages. We will be spending Christmas day with my in-laws, and spending the night there. We are delighted to have Netflix and the iPad to distract Jesse during dinner when he’s getting tired. x

Hi there, my name is Martha and I am a Netflix Mum Ambassador for MummyPages. Christmas starts quite early in our house, at about 8am and it's quite a lazy day. The kids do what they want to do, if they want to go on Netflix and watch what they want to watch - that's fine by me! x

We love Netflix in our house, and it doesn't have to be Christmas lol!! Although I have to say it's a special time of year to curl up on the couch and settle in with the kids on a cold evening. This Christmas we will be watching (as requested by the kids) The Muppets, Enchanted and Rango. Quite the mix I know. For mum and dad it will definitely have to be Love Actually (well ok just for mum). And htat's it for now.

It's got to be Toy Story in our house. The kids know it word for word, and never get tired of watching it. So handy have it there to watch all the time, over and over. And it's one of the few things that holds their attention. I feel it will be watched a lot during the holidays ;)

We will definitley be using Netflix on Christmas Eve to settle the kids down - there's always so much excitement. And our tradtition is to get into new jim jams, and settle down to a nice movie with lots of treats. It's quite simply my most favourite day of the year. We have Netflix set up on our TV, so it's very simple to access and never fails. The kids choose what they want to watch - Tangled and Toy Story have been huge this year, so it will probably be that again. Once the kids are gone to bed, it's an old classic like A Fish Called Wanda. Light, fluffy and funny, while we're getting everything set up for Chirstmas morning ;)

Netflix is on the TV and laptop in our house. So the kids get to watch their shows on TV - we have friends and family over on Christmas Eve so it's a great way to keep the kids occupied. I watch Netflix on the laptop in bed, once the madness is over, sometimes a movie, especially at Chirstmas time. Old classics are my favourite, Some Like it Hot. I also really enjoy The Godfather and Fargo.

We use Netflix every day in our house. It's on the phones, tablet and laptop. My daughter is 5 and she loves it because it's so easy for her to use. She can find her favourite shows no problem. We love curling up in my bed on a Sunday morning when everyones off work and school, connecting the laptop to the tv and watching loads of movies so it will be nice to be able to do that more over the Christmas holidays! We will spend Christmas in my mum's this year so ill be nice to relax on the couch with the fire lighting and Netflix on!

I think Netflix is great for those cozy evenings between Xmas and New Years where the whole gang cram onto the couch to watch a film or a box set with the boxes of roses and quality street between us and the fire roaring

In the run up to Christmas we always watch family movies at the weekend, and once school is done, there's something on every evening. It's such a lovely time to spend with the family. There are few times during hte year the family all sit down together. And what better way to occupy our time than with Netflix, there's something for everyone.
