A new ad, created by Dutch advertising agency Lemz, issues a stark warning to the parents of small children regarding the availability of toxic chemicals within the home.

With the help of hidden cameras, eye-tracking sensors and heart-rate monitors, Lemz offers a worrying insight into the minds of toddlers when they are presented with a choice between a toy and a toxic substance.

With 7,500 incidents involving young children and chemicals happening each year in the Netherlands, the advertising agency hope to raise awareness of the issue and educate parents on their child's thought process when it comes to these potentially life-threatening chemicals.

With 82% of children opting to play with bleach during the filming of the advertisement, the agency ended their appeal with an urgent message: "Don't give kids a choice."
