It’s essential that our children know about the dangers they face on a daily basis, but tackling the issue of sexual abuse in an age-appropriate manner can be tricky at times.

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) has addressed the topic this week, with a brand new animation featuring the ‘Pantosaurus’.

A collaborative project with Aardman Animations and production company OMD UK, the video features a song teaching kids all about stranger danger and the importance of telling parents and guardians about abuse or threatening situations.

The ‘Pants Song’, performed by Pantosaurus and his friends, sheds light on the dangers presented in everyday life – at the park, at the swimming pool, at the skate park, and beyond.

A colourful animation with a catchy song and an important message; this is one video that every young child should watch.
