Many of you will remember the adorable Monchhichi toys – cuddly companions introduced back in 1974, who inspired friendship and sharing – and we are delighted to report that a beautiful new collection of these characters is being released this Christmas!
Monchhichi is now available in new cute and cuddly models including a sailor boy, a sleeping girl, a mum and her baby, and even one sporting a festive Christmas jumper.
Paying tribute to the fond memories that Monchhichi created for so many kids over the years, Bandai Product Manager Vicki Elmer said this week: “I had a Monchhichi when I was a little girl and am now thrilled to be working on such an iconic brand and introducing Monchhichi to a new generation of fans.”
If you’re as excited as we are after hearing this wonderful news, you will be delighted to learn that Dublin’s Arnotts Department store will feature a Monchhichi Christmas window display in November.
The beautiful new collection is now available in Toy Town, on the second floor. Dolls are priced between €24 and €34, while keyrings are retailing at €12.
