There are few things more frustrating than finding yourself in yet another argument with a surly teen.

And while us mums will do our utmost to avoid an altercation with a hormonal youngster, it looks there are times when the teens themselves are more than happy to avoid confrontation with us as well.

Reinforcing this point is crafty teenage boy, Brendan, who hoped to get his parents to agree to a party with as little conflict as possible.

By hacking into his parents' respective phones, the brave teen altered their autocorrect settings which meant their attempts to type the word 'no' were rendered pointless on account of the fact their son had changed the word to phrases 'Hell yes' and 'Where the b***hes at?"

Engaging his parents in a group chat, mischievous Brendan proposed throwing a party to which his parents had to wholeheartedly agree...whether they wanted to or not!

The conversation, which has seen Brendan crowned unofficial King of Party Negotiations, has been circulated across social media all week.

We can only imagine the ructions this prank caused!
