This powerful photo from China, truly reflects the selfless decision of Liang Yaoyi.
11-year-old Yaoyi had an inoperable brain tumour and sadly passed away last Friday.
But before his passing, Liang asked his parents to donate his organs so other people could live.
His parents said that Yaoyi had always dreamed of becoming a doctor and saving lives, and this was one of fulfilling his goal.
Before he died, Yaoyi told his parents: "There are many people doing great things in the world. They are great, and I want to be a great kid, too."
Before doctors removed his organs, they took a moment to bow which is seen as a sign of respect in China. This moment was captured in the photograph below.
The powerful and moving picture has since gone viral all over the internet.
