Prince Harry opens up about having more children with Meghan

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have always been adamant that their son Archie will live a relatively normal life, out of the public eye.

The new parents are determined to ensure Archie is protected from the never-ending media frenzy that surrounds the royals. Both Harry and Meghan are more than aware of the public and media’s fascination with their family which is why they want their baby boy to have a normal life.

The couple welcomed their baby boy on May 6 so there’s no doubt they’re still adjusting to life as new parents. Parents will understand just how stressful and overwhelming the first few weeks can be as you try to find your feet in your new role as mum or dad.

Harry recently opened up about being a parent in an interview with Dr Jane Goodall. The pair feature in British Vogue’s September issue, which Meghan guest edited.

The pair were discussing Harry’s commitment to the environment when Dr Goodall mentioned how unnerving the current climate crisis must be for a new parent.

Harry shared, “I view it differently now, without question. But I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children…”

“Not too many!” Dr Goodall commented, to which Harry replied, “Two, maximum!”

The dad added, “But I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed. And, surely, as intelligent as we all are, or as evolved as we all are supposed to be, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation.”

Harry and Dr Goodall’s full feature will be published in British Vogue’s September issue on Friday, August 2.
