Niall Sabongi of Rock Lobster has closed his successful Donnybrook restaurant, above Kiely’s Bar, in preparation for a move to a brand new location in Dublin city centre by early Summer. While Rock Lobster at Harvey Nichols in Dundrum Town Centre is enjoying a hugely successful first couple of months. The timing will allow Niall to further refine and develop the ‘Cocktails, Fish & Steakhouse’ style that has proved so popular.
“We’re very excited about what’s ahead,” said Niall. “We know what our customers love, and the success of our association with Harvey Nichols had just reinforced the importance of having the best possible location. Donnybrook has been good to us, but the city centre is where we want to be now.”
Now with the luxury of some free time, Niall plans to perfect Rock Lobster at Harvey Nichols, adding an Ice Counter with Oyster Bar, and Meat Display Fridges, showcasing the very best sustainable seafood, lobsters and prime dry aged bee
