Cooper Keating was “spoilt rotten” at his one-year-old birthday bash yesterday.
His proud parents, Ronan and Storm gushed over him on Instagram and shared some pictures of his celebration with family and friends.
The gorgeous birthday boy was seen on his mum’s Instagram story surrounded by presents and balloons, looking delighted with himself.
Storm uploaded a number pictures of the party, which included an impressive train cake to mark the occasion.
The Australian-born fashion designer also posted a series of beautiful pictures showing baby Cooper growing over the last 12 months.
She said: "Before this little peanut came into our lives, I already felt like the luckiest woman in the world because I had the love of my life @rokeating by my side, and for me, that meant I had it all... But once this little monkey joined the world with his huge smile and twinkly eyes, life took my heart on a journey that words will never come close to describing."
Continuing on, she spoke like most parents do about how fast the last year has gone and how grateful she is for Cooper, saying:
"One-year-old today and although the last 12 months seemed to go by in the blink of an eye, I can’t even imagine our life without Coops in it. How spoilt we have been with his endless laughter, smiles, giggles, cuddles and love. Every day is magic and every day is joy. Happy 1st birthday my little man...
"One day when you’re older, I hope you will understand just how much joy you have brought to your family, and also feel in your heart and in your bones, just how much we all utterly adore you. Mummy x."
Ronan Keating had previously opened up about the difficulties of co-parenting with his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly.
The pair tied the knot in 1998 when Ronan was just 21-years-old. Speaking of their marriage, the singer admitted that it was not necessarily the right decision.
Ronan and Yvonne’s divorce was finalised in 2015, and the pair has chosen to co-parent their three children, however, co-parenting has been quite tough for the singer.
The former Boyzone singer shares three children with Yvonne- 19-year-old Jack, 17-year-old Missy, and 12-year-old Ali.
The When You Say Nothing At All singer explained that raising your kids separately can be difficult, but you can’t let those difficulties affect your children, “Raising those children from separate places, two separate views . . . once that breaks down your opinions change and your version of events changes.”
Ronan married Storm Uechtritz in Scotland in 2015.
