Ronan Keating has paid tribute to his mum, Marie on what would have been her 70th birthday.
Posting on Instagram this morning, The Voice Australia coach said:
“70 years ago today an incredible woman was born.
"The influence she has had on my family, friends and more is immeasurable”.
In 1996, Marie was diagnosed with breast cancer and sadly passed away less than two years later.
In her honour, her family set up the Marie Keating Foundation as a means of support for those battling cancer.
“Love you Mam. Your legacy lives on forever."
Echoing these words was Ronan’s wife, Storm who also posted a tribute to Marie:
“Celebrating the birthday of someone extra special today.... Happy 70th Marie, have been feeling your love and support every day since you guided your son into my life. Thank you”
