After finalising her divorce from ex-wife, Michelle Rounds on March 31st, Rosie O’Donnell confirmed that she has sole custody of the pairs three-year-old daughter, Dakota.
During a Q&A session on her website called ‘Ask Ro’ one fan asked the comedian if she shared custody of little Dax with her ex-wife to which Rosie firmly responded “I do not”.
Rosie went on to confirm that Michelle is now out of her family’s life completely.
Last year, Michelle’s attorney revealed that the former couple had agreed to ‘joint legal custody’ which was surprising news as just weeks earlier, Michelle was rushed to hospital after a suspected suicide attempt.
The couple’s custody battle was far from friendly as the pair were ordered by a judge to stop discussing the proceedings in public as they had been publicly bashing each other for weeks.
Michelle had initially applied for full custody of the three-year-old after accusing Rosie of relying on nannies.
But that has all changed as Rosie confirmed the news during her Q&A.
Since the divorce was finalised, Rosie has vowed never to marry again.
The actress is currently celebrating 4th of July with Dax and her other four children from her first marriage.
