When Make-A-Wish Foundation heard that six-year-old Addison was currently in remission after battling leukemia for over two years, they decided to make her wish to see a unicorn come true.

The Foundation asked Alvin Chang and volunteers from Diamond Head Theatre to create a magical adventure for the little girl. So they transformed Waimea Valley into Arboretia where 'Princess Addison' had to release a magical unicorn to free the Queen.

The little girl was taken on an adventure that ended with her meeting a real life unicorn.

Talking about Addison’s journey, her mum, Danielle Bulloch said: “It’s been grueling watching her go through being sick and going through chemotherapy. Even when she was in the throes of the heaviest doses of chemo, when there were days when she couldn’t even walk because she was so weak and her blood counts were so low, she still had a smile on her face.”

The sweet girl said she had her very own "happily ever after" that day.
