Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has opened up about the current scandal regarding her boyfriend Matt Baker, whose ex-girlfriend Danni Ballard is pregnant.
Danni has claimed that the baby she is carrying is Matt’s, although Matt has refuted the claim on numerous occasions; it is now reported that he is demanding a paternity test.
Commenting on the situation in her column for OK! magazine, mum-of-three Kym said: “There are two sides to every story, and whatever happened during their relationship was a long time before Matt and I even began dating.”
“We all have a past and things happen, and that’s just the way it goes. I will absolutely be there to support Matt whatever happens, but beyond that it’s not really any of my business!” added the actress.
Matt previously spoke out to say that Kym had nothing to do with the breakdown of his relationship with Danni, also insisting that he was led to believe the baby is not his.
“After ending our relationship I was then told at a later time by Danielle Ballard that she was pregnant with my child. I have since been told by Ms Ballard that I am not the father,” he tweeted, earlier this year.
