4-year-old Annabelle Earl from Brooklyn, New York, knows exactly what she wants – to be a flower girl.
Unfortunately for the little girl, no one she knew was getting married.
So, her mum came up with an idea that would allow her little girl’s dream to come true.
Armed with a green sign that read: “Can I be your flowergirl?” they marched down to Manhattan's City Clerk's Office. Annabelle wore her best dress and chose some beautiful flowers to carry and stood in City Hall waiting to be asked.
It wasn’t long before a couple about to say “I do” spotted the sweet girl, saying: “She was too adorable to say no to, and we thought it would be fun to make her day as well as ours.”
Annabelle was later asked what her favourite part of her day as a flower girl was, and she said: “Giving flowers to the bride.”
