Here at MummyPages, we’re delighted to announce the launch of a great new Christmas fundraising initiative for our charity partner, BUMBLEance.

The #SantaSelfie campaign is one the whole family can get involved in – all you need to do is post a festive picture on social media and text in your donation!

We absolutely love the BUMBLEance service, which is the first of its kind in the world. It’s a specially equipped ambulance service just for children, making emergency trips to the hospital a lot less scary and a lot more fun.

The entire MummyPages team is backing this amazing fundraising campaign, and we’re encouraging men, women and children in Ireland to get involved.

  1. PHOTO - Take a Santa or Christmas inspired photo of yourself or your loved ones
  2. TEXT ‘STAR’ to 50300 to donate €4 to BUMBLEance
  3. POST the picture on social media using the hashtag #SantaSelfie and tag @MummyPages and @BUMBLEance
  4. NOMINATE three of your family or friends.

Commenting on the partnership between BUMBLEance and MummyPages, Tony Heffernan, who founded the service with his wife Mary in 2013, says: “We are delighted to partner with MummyPages.ie. It is a great opportunity for BUMBLEance to raise the awareness of our services and the funds needed to continue to provide our Angel Trip & ambulance services to children and families in Ireland.”

“We are very busy, in October of this year, 29 children benefited from our BUMBLEance service, on one of these days BUMBLEance covered nearly 1,200km across the country. We hope to raise enough money to have another BUMBLEance on the road by March 2015, as we expand our services to meet the growing demand.”

“We are honoured to have won the #TweetieInspire Award at the RaboTweeties last night and hope we inspire the people of Ireland to get behind the festive MummyPages.ie #SantaSelfie charity initiative and have some fun raising much needed funds for BUMBLEance. Our charity service receives no funding from the government and so we rely on the generosity of the public.”
