An 18-year-old has died in a tragic road traffic collision in Co. Clare.
Gardaí in Ennis are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Woodstock, Ennis, Co. Clare in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, April 1, 2018.
The incident occurred at approximately 4.20 a.m. The 18-year-old male passenger was fatally injured when the car he was in, hit a wall.
The 19-year-old driver and a 21-year-old passenger were seriously injured and have been removed to University Hospital Limerick.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by the Garda forensic collision investigators, who are en route. Local diversions are in place.
