By now, you will no doubt have heard all about the ‘clown’ sightings across the United States, and the latest report shows that the phenomenon has taken a dangerous turn.
According to reports, a 10-year-old boy from Syracuse, New York, was left terrified after being chased by three people dressed as clowns.
The terrifying incident is said to have taken place on Thursday morning on the walk to school, with the child ending up hiding between two houses and calling the police for help.

By the time the police arrived on the scene, the ‘clowns’ were nowhere to be seen – but authorities are taking the incident very seriously.
Equating the actions of the ‘clowns’ to loitering and harassment, a spokesperson said: “We will be strictly enforcing these laws as we believe the actions by these individuals place children in potentially dangerous situations and will not be tolerated.”
Frighteningly, police discovered that another child in the area was chased by three people meeting the same descriptions as these clowns.
The latest story follows reports of ‘clowns’ trying to lure young children into the woods across the US.
Let’s hope the police are able to nip this one in the bud before anyone comes to harm.
