Incredible footage has been released of the moment that the brother and sister of a 22-month-old toddler, who was snatched from his buggy, rescued their younger sibling from a man’s clutches.
The dramatic incident occurred in the town of Sprague in the US, with the 22-month-old boy and his two older siblings, eight-year-old sister Delicia and 10-year-old brother Brenden, playing in a park nearby to their babysitter’s house. It has been reported that the children were unsupervised at the time.
According to sources, the man is believed to have approached the children and engaged in them in conversation for a few minutes, before scooping the youngest child from his buggy and running down the street with him in his arms.
The child’s siblings proceeded to run after the man, screaming as loudly as they could. Delicia’s screams alerted passers-by, with a pair of teenagers then joining in the chase.
When the man saw the older children, 15 and 16, approach, he then placed the child down in a vacant lot and fled.
No vehicle was spotted, and the abductor took off on foot. Local authorities are currently doing all in their power to find the man.
Commenting on the horrifying incident, the child’s shaken father told local news station KXLY: “I can’t explain the feeling, the anxiety and everything that goes into finding out your children are missing or something has happened to them.”
