There have been some frightening reports of attempted kidnappings in recent months, and to watch footage of such an incident taking place will shake you to your core.
Police in Buenos Aires are trying to identify and locate a man who recently attempted to snatch a three-month-old baby girl from her mother’s arms.
According to reports, Irene Cajal was walking down the street with little Bianca, when the man came up behind her and tried to take the child from her arms.
The terrifying incident was captured by security cameras installed outside the home of a friend of a Cajal family, and shows the woman tumbling to the ground while desperately trying to hold onto her baby.
Eventually, the man gave up the fight and ran off, leaving a traumatised Irene and her baby on the ground.
The shaken mother told local media: “My baby’s fine, thank God. She was kept in hospital at first because she’s only tiny, and just three months and 15 days old. She suffered a bump to her head but that’s all.”
With the incident taking place on 6th June, local authorities are still trying to track down the man from the CCTV footage.
