The Crown captures the moment Prince Charles fell for Camilla Parker Bowles

We are itching for The Crown to return to our screens. Far too long has passed since we binge-watched series one and two of the royal drama.

Fans of the show were hoping for it to return before Christmas, but it looks like we will have to wait until 2019 for series three.

Series three will see a brand new cast play the legendary family. Olivia Coleman and Tobias Menzies will take on the roles of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Josh O’Connor has taken over the role of Prince Charles and the actor is set to be part of quite the major storyline in series three.

The actor and co-star Emerald Fennell, who will play Camilla Parker Bowles, were spotted filming a huge moment in the monarch’s life recently.

The pair were filming the moment Prince Charles fell in love with Camilla Parker Bowles.

Josh and Emerald certainly looked the part in the behind-the-scenes shot. Call The Midwife star Emerald even wore the iconic red polo top Camilla sported on that famous day in 1975.

The famous moment took place four years after Charles and Camilla first met.

Viewers are extremely excited to see the upcoming series which will largely take place throughout the 1970s.
