Aljaz Skorjanec took to the Strictly couch to talk all things dancing, but his mind was on other things.
On last night's Strictly segment, It Takes Two, presenter Zoe Ball had to repeat a question during an interview with Aljaz.
Sitting next to his dance partner, Kate Silverton, the professional dancer revealed the heartwarming reason for being so distracted.
Apologising to Zoe, the 28-year-old explained that he had become an uncle and he was impatient to meet the newborn.
"I'm an uncle it's hard to focus. I love you Zala and I can't wait to meet you," he confessed.
The night before, Aljaz's sister, Lara had given birth to the baby girl, who was named Zala.
Beaming with pride, the dancer took to Instagram to announce her arrival and posted a picture of the little girl.
Lara assured her brother on her Instagram stories, that the family were tuned in to watch his interview.
The family are very close and Aljaz takes every opportunity to visit them in his native Slovenia.
"If I have a few days off, I'll often fly home to see them, to sleep in my bedroom, eat tomatoes," he previously told the Mail.
Congratulations to the family, and we hope Aljaz gets to meet the baby girl soon.
