Following the massive success of The Smurfs movie in 2011, The Smurfs 2 is coming to cinemas this July 31st and here at MummyPages HQ we are extremely excited.
In this sequel to The Smurfs, the evil wizard Gargamel creates mischievous Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties that he hopes will let him harness the all-powerful, magical Smurf-essence. But when he discovers that only a Smurfette can give him what he wants, he kidnaps her and brings her to Paris. It's up to Papa, Clumsy, Grouchy, and Vanity to return to our world and rescue her and convince her that their love for her is True Blue!
Returning cast includes Katy Perry as ‘Smurfette’, Neil Patrick Harris as ‘Patrick Winslow’ and Anton Yelchin as ‘Clumsy Smurf’. Our very own Brendan Gleeson joins the cast as Victor, while Christina Ricci joins the voice cast as Vexy.
