We’ve all had that moment watching Dragon’s Den where we’ve though “I could have come up with that!” but never actually do anything about it.

Well these primary school kids will never have to say that because they’re showing off the entrepreneurial skills as they battle to win this years “Enterprise of the Year”.

The prize is part of BizWorld Ireland’s annual BizFactor competition where schools across the country compete in the hopes of winning the top prize.

BizWorld Ireland is a national not-for-profit organisation that promotes entrepreneurship skills amongst young people.

The competition will take place on Thursday, 28th of April in the RDS, Dublin and these kids will be coming from all around the country to compete.

The eight finalists include groups from:

Our Lady Queen of Peace, Janesboro, Limerick – Mop Socks

St Michael’s N.S., Catlepollard, Westmeath – Eazy Keyz

Gaelscoil Sáirséal, Limerick – Bye Bye to Bullying

Scoil Mhuire N.S., Broadford, Limerick – Mind and Body

St Mary’s College Junior School, Dublin 6 – Gymlets

SN Chreachmhaoil, Craughwell, Galway – Safety Net

Scoil Mhuire, Shankill, Dublin 18 – Zoo and You

Our Lady’s Grove Primary School, Dublin 14 – Daasie & Co.

The teams will have to showcase their ideas to a judging panel of pretty high profile figures in business including Dragon’s Den's, Gavin Duffy.

We don’t think we could handle the pressure but with ideas like these, these kids are perfectly capable.

And with the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Críona Ní Dhálaigh presenting the winner with their award, these business-savvy kids will be out to impress on the big day.

Best of luck to all the groups taking part and congratulations on getting this far.

SHARE your well wishes with these finalists.
