We all know the moaning and groaning of a Sunday night as the reality sinks in for our kids that they have school in the morning.
We know it all too well because we experienced that same dread when we were younger.
So we can totally understand the delight when Colin thought he would get a week off school with this crafty plan.
Colin presented his parents with a note from his teacher, Mrs Teague.
Or so it appeared.
Mrs Teague informed Colin’s parents that school had been cancelled that week and that he should remain at home.
Worried that he might get bored without the brain stimulation school normally provides, Mrs Teague also suggested Colin use his time to play video games.
And in one last effort to fool his parents, Colin’s Mrs Teague tried to assure them that it was all legit by promising “I am the techer”.
The note was posted on Imgur where many have been amused by Colin’s plan.
“The double exclamation points have convinced me of its authenticity” read one comment.
He had us fooled.
