After taking pictures of children from all across the world, photographer, Gabriele Galimberti found that children no matter where they were from or the circumstances that they had been raised in - that all children have one thing common, they all still love to play.
Galimberti came up with the idea of photographing children with their most prized possessions, after staying with various families during his travelling work assignments.
The photo series is titled “Toy Stories: Photos of Children From Around the World and Their Favourite Things”: “I think my work just shows how different we are in the world, how differently we can live, and how differently our children play depending where they are born.”
The photos are an accumulation of three years of travel with children from over 58 countries which varied from the U.S. to India:
