A 13-year-old boy charged in connection to the death of 14-year-old Ana Kriegel is to be granted bail.
The boy's identity can't be disclosed for legal reasons.
The body of the Kildare schoolgirl was recovered in a farmhouse, in Lucan after a Garda investigation.
The boy has been previously refused bail on June 29 by the High Court, reports The Irish Times.
The publication said the Children’s Court had informed Judge John O’Connor that the prosecution had made significant headway in the case and a psychiatric assessment had been carried out.
It is believed that Judge O'Connor on Monday consented to bail and has adjourned the case until Thursday, according to The Irish Times.
