A father in Washington has gone and built his daughter her very own fairy tree in her bedroom, and it is AMAZING!
The project took him about 18 months, or 350 hours of his time, and he documented it all on imgur, where he explained that he wanted a place where his daughter could sit inside and read books, climb the branches and even sit at the very top.
Admitting that he was “slightly unprepared for the physical realities of the project”, the professional video game artist created the tree using a steel skeleton, concrete polymer, plywood, modelling clay and a wire screen.
“Even though it was difficult, I learned a huge amount along the way. It turned out pretty well, and she's so happy in her new room!” he wrote on the site.
