This short film has won 59 awards and a Disney contract thanks to its emotive message.
‘The Present’ is the story of a typical teenage boy who is addicted to video games when his mum comes home with a present, a puppy.
However, the teen is less than impressed when he sees the puppy with only three legs looking back at him.
The short film, which has over one million views on YouTube, was made by Jacob Frey and Markus Kranzler and was inspired by a comic book.
What’s even more surprising about this film is that it was made as part of a student project when the pair were in college in Germany.
The duo have now scored themselves some pretty impressive jobs as a result of its success.
Jacob now works at Walt Disney Animation Studios and Markus at Pixar Animation Studios.
