Every now and then, a heart-warming video will come along that will just stop us in our tracks, and the following one from mum Courtney Fletcher Bennett is one such piece of footage.
Courtney took to Facebook to share a beautiful video showing what happened when she recently presented her daughter Emma with a very special gift.
Emma has a prosthetic leg, and she never had a doll that was just ‘like her’ – until now, that is.
With the help of A Step Ahead Prosthetics, Courtney and her husband managed to get their hands on an American Girl doll with a pink prosthetic leg – just like young Emma.
When Emma opens the box, she can barely contain her excitement, and it’s not long before the tears start to flow.
Meanwhile, Courtney reads out a touching letter documenting the doll’s journey to get to her new home.
“After a few weeks of training, she is ready to go home and lead a life without limitations with you,” says the doting mother.
Emma’s reaction shows just how much this means to her – and just look at how excited her adorable little sister is to see her so happy!
