For some reason, the publicising of breastfeeding appears to send some people into a rage, but one mum has nailed the double-standards of those protesters perfectly.

New mum Maria Corry was recently left shocked after posting a photo of herself nursing to Facebook, only to later receive a notification informing her that the image had been reported five times.

Frustrated by the feedback, she decided to take those who were offended by her post to task and highlight their serious double-standards in the most powerful way.

So since my breastfeeding photo which showed NOTHING got reported more than FIVE times, I'm posting this. I bet this won...

The US mum decided to pose for a photo in her underwear while nursing her child, holding a photo of a lingerie model to cover her baby as she fed.

“I bet this won’t be reported, because you can see this picture in every mall you step into, huge and blown-up outside the store. This is not frowned upon, or ever reported, as it is seen everywhere. But a woman nurturing and feeding their baby is looked down on. That is completely absurd!” wrote Maria.

She went on to urge women to keep nursing in public and share their ‘brelfies’ online in support.

“I can’t believe how much backlash my photo got, but more importantly I got tonnes of support and I thank you all,” she added.
