When she was just two years old, Cailee Herell was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease which causes rapid vision loss.

Four years later, Cailee is on a mission to make the most of her sight for however long more it will last.

Cailee’s mum Catrina says that she is trying to help her daughter see all she wants as she watched a close friend lose her sight years previous.

"My friend’s memory bank is full and that's why we created the sighting seeing bucket list — it's not just adventures but it's important for her future,” she told the Daily Mail.

"I want to give Cailee as much as possible — and not just introduce her to the rainbow colours, but give her terracotta and crimson."

The visual bucket list includes everything from going to summer camp to going to Disneyland.

"When Cailee was just 3 she reminded me, 'Girls are tough, mom.

"Whether she has vision or not I want her to grow up happy, healthy, successful, and to become an independent woman."
