On Friday, American clothing brand, Old Navy, tweeted about an upcoming sale event.
Tweet was accompanied by the picture of an interracial family and caused a storm on Twitter.
Internet trolls took to Twitter to share their disgust and said the retailer was promoting "open borders" and "race mixing".

My family and I will never step into an @OldNavy store again. This miscegenation junk is rammed down our throats from every direction.

@OldNavy What are you trying to tell us? That the black father was absent so a white man had to step in and play daddy? Pathetic, I'm sick

But for every racist comment came a family who were delighted to see themselves portrayed in the campaign and general supporters of the advert.
