Toddler's behaviour during grocery shopping errand has stunned thousands

Grocery shopping can be a frustrating and tedious experience as you navigate a trolley through crowded aisles all the while attempting to think for everyone in the family.

So, it's no surprise that the recent actions of one little girl did much to lift the spirits of supermarket shoppers during what can otherwise be a thoroughly draining endeavour.

Eager to connect with members of the public, 16-month-old Joey toddled through the store's aisles while waving, smiling and offering hugs to delighted shoppers.

The footage, which has been shared on Love What Matters Facebook page, has unsurprisingly attracted considerable attention from social media users who were clearly touched by the child's genuine expression of love and friendship.

Accompanying the moving footage, Love What Matters admin wrote: "This is Joey. She is 16-months-old and she spreads joy wherever she goes!"
