When Charlie’s mum woke from a nap she found her son in tears after realising he had made a big mistake.
Jessica woke to the sound of her three-year-old “balling his eyes out” after he had accidentally gotten his head stuck in a children’s toilet seat.
The mummy-blogger behind The Peachy-Keen Mumma said her husband was outside painting as she and her son took naps inside only for her to wake a short while later to find her son very upset.
And with the long-game in mind, Jessica decided to take a quick picture of her son to use for embarrassment later in life before trying to free him.
“I just thought ‘quick, get a photo for his 21st. Then rescue him’,” she said in a Facebook post.
But it seems the task was much more difficult than this mum expected.
“It wasn’t that easy. In fact panic set in when I realised how hard this would be.
“I didn’t know if my husband was at the hardware store or just outside. I ran to find out that he was outside. Phew.”
“After attempting about five different times to take it off myself I took him over to the lounge to sit down. I forgot there was a big lip on the front of the seat to prevent leakage and that just dug into his neck more, making him cry harder,” Jessica told Kidspot.
With a bit of manoeuvring Jessica and her husband finally freed little Charlie and it seems all he wanted after his ordeal was hugs from his mum.
