Golden Globe-nominated Max Greenfield, who plays the character of Schmidt in the popular TV show, welcomed a baby boy with his wife, Tess Sanchez.
Max and his casting executive wife, who are already parents to five-year-old Lilly, have named their youngster Ozzie James Greenfield.
The couple, who wed in 2008, announced they were expecting in April, going on to welcome little Ozzie who weighted 6lbs, 12oz this week.
Everyone “is doing great”, an insider told E! News.
Talking about being a father to their little girl, the 34-year-old previously said: “She’s the best. She keeps a lot of it grounded. You come home, you’re like, ‘Whatever, let’s go hang out!’”
This is the second child to join the New Girl team this year, with Zooey Deschanel recently welcoming a daughter with her husband, Jacob Pechenik.
