Yesterday we reported how Katie Hopkins had criticised fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate Katie Price after her admission that parts of son Harvey’s £1000-a-day healthcare is government-funded.

Despite Katie’s representatives then posting a statement addressing the specifics of Harvey’s care, Dragon’s Den star Deborah Meaden has added her voice to the mix, to lend her support to Katie Hopkins’ side of the argument.

Appearing on ITV’s Loose Women earlier today, Deborah said that she felt mum-of-five Katie should foot the bill for Harvey’s driver and nurse, rather than depending on the taxpayer.

“I am going to agree with Katie Hopkins and I never, ever thought I’d say those words. I actually don’t agree with the thing that if you put tax in, you expect to get it out,” said Deborah.

She added: “If I want my child to go to that school – and I don’t know Katie’s situation and I might be completely wrong in judging her – if I want my child to go to that school and I can afford to send my child to that school, then I cannot burden society.”

After the discussion took place between the two Katies earlier this week, many viewers took to Twitter to voice their support for Katie Hopkins' side of the argument.
