A boy and a girl are in critical condition in hospital this evening after sustaining serious injuries in a car accident in Antrim today.
The incident is said to have happened around 4.40pm at the junction of Staffordstown Road and Greenan Road.

The two children were hit by an Audi A3 car and the driver remained at the scene.
Roads in the area are closed and diversions are in place.
Staffordstown Rd in Antrim is closed in both directions following a serious road traffic collision. Please seek alternative route.
