Valentine’s Day is ‘A Tender Thing’ at The Westbury Hotel
~ The Westbury Hotel and the Project Arts Centre present ‘A Tender Thing’ – a dramatic
St. Valentine’s Day experience ~

The Westbury Hotel, an iconic five star Dublin hotel, is no stranger to drama – guests at The Westbury enjoy a front row seat to the daily drama played out on Grafton Street, from the unique vantage point of The Gallery, Dublin’s most elegant meeting place.
To celebrate St. Valentine’s Day, the hotel has come together with The Project Arts Centre, to create ‘A Tender Thing’ at The Westbury Hotel a luxury Valentine’s Day experience that will please even the most die-hard romantics.

Lovers of theatre can enjoy this exciting Siren Production adaption of one of the most celebrated romances of all time at the Project Arts Theatre from the 23rd of January until the 15th of February.  Those wishing to make the experience extra special can combine it with a luxurious stay at The Westbury Hotel, in the heart of Dublin’s social and cultural riches.
Re-imagining the text of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, A Tender Thing is a heart-warming play that remixes the greatest love story ever told. The play explores what might have happened if Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers had lived and loved, rather than taking their own lives as in the original, the young lovers have grown old together.   Shakespeare’s timeless poetry provides the backdrop for this delicate and strikingly different love story.

Guests can match the on-stage drama with the luxury of one of Dublin’s finest hotels - enjoying dinner in the elegant surroundings of Wilde – The Restaurant, falling into a heavenly Sealy bed that night, adorned with luxurious Irish Lissadell linen and bathroom amenities by Aromatherapy Associates and waking up to the scrumptious full Irish breakfast the next morning.

A Tender Thing package is available from €250 per room and includes:
