What is the best way to grow out a short pixie cut to shoulder length?

There is nothing more frustrating than trying to grow out any hair style, especially a drastic cut like the pixie cut. It is important to remember, however, that it takes time, and a lot of patience to do this.

When growing out any hair style, you must remember that it will only grow if it is kept healthy. That means cutting out excess styling with the hair straightener and curling tongs, that can cause damage, and giving your hair a little TLC.

Make an appointment with your hairdresser to get a trim once a month. This will get rid of any split ends, leaving your hair in the best condition for growth. If you find that your hair is growing down in an awkward and unflattering shape, your hairdresser will be able to recommend the best option for you.

MummyPages also recommends investing in a good quality conditioning treatment such as Aussie 3 Minute Miracle or Kerastase Masque Nutri-Thermique to provide intense nourishment for dry and sensitised hair.

Now all you have to do is be patient!
