A Reddit user uploaded a photograph to the social networking site last weekend, in which she announced that she and her wife are expecting a child together.
Known only by her user handle ‘MeggoEggo1’, the user posted the photo under the title ‘A non-traditional baby announcement for a non-traditional family’.
In the picture, her wife wears a T-shirt emblazoned with the words “I’m pregnant” – nothing unusual there.
What tops it off is MeggoEggo1’s hilarious shirt, which reads “I’m not the father”.
Writing in the thread, she added: “My wife dated men before me so she always thought she’d be pregnant. I wanted nothing to do with it. So it worked out.”
Needless to say, members of the Reddit community were equally as creative when it came to congratulating the couple on their news.
“I can imagine how the conversation about who would carry the child went: ‘Honey, it’s not about uteryou or uterme. It’s about uterus'," wrote one user.
This couple have really set the bar. We love it!
