You can truly never know the extent of what has gone on in another person's life, and one woman is hoping to put the pieces together for her mother.

Christina Wilcox has launched a Facebook appeal in search of the triplet sons her mother gave up for adoption 43 years ago.

Cynthia Bush was just 16 when she fell pregnant with triplets, and upon receiving a lack of support from her parents, she was sent away from home and forced to adopt her three sons shortly after their births.

Ms Bush went on to marry the boys' father, Brian, and they had another three children together. Knowing how desperate her mother has been all these years to get in touch with her estranged sons, daughter Christina has spearheaded a search to find them.

Here is my new post with updated information. Please share it as much as you can. Thank you so much

In her post, Christina is seen holding up a poster containing details on her family's life and the boys' birth.

While Christina is still searching for answers, she has received one rather upsetting update - although Cynthia specifically asked that the boys be adopted together, it has emerged that they were likely separated during the process.

Speaking to local media, Cynthia said of the search so far: "I just have mixed emotions about it. I'd like to find them, but I don't want to disrupt their lives completely if they don't know they are adopted."

Let's hope that the New Year will bring some good news.
