Sounds like a normal night for any mum or dad, right? Well, perhaps not for this woman, given that she doesn’t have or live with a baby!
The woman, from Battle Creek, Michigan, was completely baffled by the presence of the one-year-old child, and rang the police in order to try and solve the mystery.
It turns out that the woman’s 18-year-old son had dropped off the baby before heading on a night out, which would be totally explicable if he in fact was a father himself – but he isn’t!
After taking the tot down to the station, police made inquiries and eventually solved the case of the mystery baby. It turns out that the woman’s son had decided to head out for the night with the baby’s mum, with the pair putting the baby to sleep in his family home.
As for how the baby made it into the shocked woman’s bed, police believe the baby woke up and somehow managed to crawl in to her, seeking comfort.
The baby is perfectly fine and was reunited with its mother shortly after.
What a surprise to wake up to!
