A little girl’s doll means to her what a child means to their parents – they are precious, special beings who require just as much love and care as their owners.
So, when nine-year-old Joselyn McCain asked her father Trent to babysit her doll Abbie for the day recently, he could hardly leave her hanging!
Trent, who works in the trucking industry with his father, proceeded to take Abbie to work with him and treat her to a special day with her ‘Grandpa’ – and, of course, took some much-needed photographic evidence for Joselyn’s peace of mind!
After receiving a wonderful reaction from his friends on his personal Facebook, Trent decided to publish the photos on the official McCain Enterprises page – and, no surprises, the fantastic photos have gone viral.
Trent went on to post shots of Abbie strapped in in the front seat of the truck, enjoying a lunchtime snack, and even getting a cuddle from her ‘great grandpa’!
“We decided to have a little fun and post pictures of our travels. I didn't want Joselyn thinking I threw Abbie in the sleeper and forgot about her. She has been sending instructions via FB all day. Abbie and Grandpa have had a good day, and glad we could bring a little entertainment to our friends,” wrote Trent.
The photos have absolutely charmed the social media community, and proven – just in time for Father’s Day – why dads are so great.
