As X Factor returned to our screens last night so did the fame-hungry teens, the looney auditions and the few amazingly talented singers who are sure to be a feature on our TVs over the coming weeks.

One of those was 19-year-old Christian Burrows who blew the judges away when he performed an original song about his little brother.

At just two years old, Christian lost his three-month-old brother Nathan when he died from cot death.

In an emotional tribute to his baby brother, Christian spokes about what his life might have been like if he and his brother had grown up together.

"I would do anything just to be two years old again, imagine what we could have done, imagine what we could have been."

Calling his brother his "teletubby in the sky", Christian revealed that he had only ever sang the song for his mum

Visibly touched by his performance, the judges praised the teen while holding back the tears.

And his parents looked equally as moved as they watched their son perform.

"I don't know how you did that, but I think it was important that you did because it told me who you were as an artist and as a person and you've got real talent," Simon told the singer-songwriter.
