More and more families across Ireland are now at risk of losing their homes. Many are families with young children who increasingly find themselves unable to keep a home for themselves and their loved ones. They have no safe, secure or stable place to call home. They might have a bed for the night, but no kitchen to make a cup of tea, nowhere to rest during the day, nowhere for their children to do their homework or play, nowhere they can close their own front door and call home.
We need your support now more than ever to maintain the services we currently provide for these families including childcare, education, housing, information and support. The need is great - with your support we can reach even more families who are at risk of homelessness and continue to make a real and on-going difference.
Focus Ireland has 60 services across Ireland and their services benefited over 8,000 people in 2012. 1 in 7 of those accessing a homeless service is a child.
