We tend to sometimes take our own health for granted, but hearing the stories of little children who are born with serious illnesses is a total wake-up call for us.
Indeed, sometimes it’s only when we watch a video like the following – of a young boy finding out he can finally come off dialysis – that we realise our health truly is our wealth.
Our hearts have been touched today by the story of Amanda Weber and her son, who recently found out that his long wait for a kidney transplant is over.
Sharing her story with the Love What Matters Facebook page, Amanda wrote: “This is a video of my 13-year-old son that has been waiting for a second kidney transplant.”
“We never thought we would see this day come, as he only had the possibility of matching 3 percent of the country. This is me telling him we found him a kidney,” she added.
The sheer joy in his smile and hope in his eyes will undoubtedly put you in a good mood today.
