If you are spending the night at home with the kids, why not bake these deliciously cute little pumpkin treats, which are absolutely perfect for Halloween.

 

 

Ingredients:

 

50g butter

 

200g mini marshmallows

 

150g crisped rice cereal

 

Orange food colouring, or a mix of red and yellow food colouring

 

Green lace style sweets, for the stem

 

 

Method:

 

Melt butter and marshmallows to a saucepan and stir over a low heat until melted and well blended.

 

Remove from the heat, stir through the food colouring.

 

Add the crisped rice cereal and stir to combine.

 

Roll the mixture into pumpkin shapes and place on a sheet of greaseproof paper.

 

Cut the green sweets to size to create the pumpkin stems.

 

Place the stems on the top of the pumpkins.

 

Allow to set before serving.
