Alanis Morissette is not shying away from showing off her baby bump.
The singer took to Instagram today to share a picture of herself floating in a pool with all eyes on her baby bump.
The 42-year-old announced she was pregnant in February with a video and song that she posted on her website.
Alanis is already mum to 5-year-old Ever Imre with her husband, Mario Treadway who she married in 2010.
Alanis is an advocate of attachment parenting which was clear when in January she wrote:
“Ultimately, what once served as a way to relieve unwanted pain becomes the mechanism through which we remain perpetually estranged from ourselves.
“And the havoc that this lack of self-intimacy and self-knowledge can create permeates every area of our life.”
And this latest picture is just another example of this.
Captioning the stunning image with a quote from her son, Ever.
