They made headlines around the world after announcing the news of their ‘conscious uncoupling’, but Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have done their very best to ensure their children – Moses and Apple – will always remain a priority.
And it seems their desire to remain close for the sake of their kids is going well, if Gwyneth’s latest Instagram post is anything to go by anyway.
The Iron Man star took to the social media site to share a picture of her son hugging his dad to celebrate Thanksgiving.
She captioned the snap: “Here is to reunions, togetherness, family, and love love love. Happy thanksgiving eve, everyone. Love, gp.”
And fans absolutely loved the beautiful family picture.
“What a lovely family photo and so very refreshing to see love, togetherness and parental respect post separation. It can be done! Happy thanksgiving,” wrote one, while another simply described the image as “beautiful”.
The 44-year-old previously gave an insight into how she helped her 12-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son following the decision to separate, and recalled saying: “You know Daddy and I are famous and there’s going to be a lot of stuff out there. I can’t control what you’ll see, but you know what’s real and how much we love you.”
Insisting that her children "understand the difference between the inside and outside world", the actress admitted that the only way she maintains her sanity amid the media limelight is by staying away from tabloids.
